The Fast Fixes NW project in Puyallup involved the installation of a new window in a garage where none existed previously. This addition aimed to enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of the space. The project encompassed various stages, from initial measurements and ordering to final installation and finishing touches.
We conducted thorough measurements to ensure accuracy and collaborated with the client to select a stylish slider window. The site was then prepared, and a portion of the garage’s sheetrock was removed to accommodate the new window. The opening was reframed and an electrician was brought in to relocate a light fixture and outlet obstructing the window placement.
Particular attention was given to proper waterproofing of the opening to prevent moisture infiltration. We installed the new window securely, double-checking sizing and functionality. We worked closely with the customer to replicate custom trim detailing that matched their specifications, achieving a high-quality finish that seamlessly integrated with the existing aesthetic of the garage.
We then painted the surrounding area to enhance the overall look and reinstalled the sheetrock to complete the project. The project culminated in the successful installation of a new window, enhancing both the functionality and visual appeal of the garage.
